Forklift Operator

PRIMARY DUTIES:

1. Able to follow loading diagram and instructions from Shipping Lead to accurately identify products, roll amounts, and loading order to complete the loading of a truck.
2. Work well with fellow shippers to ensure efficient loading of trailers.
3. Resolves count discrepancies with Shipping Lead.
4. Alert supervisor of potentially unsafe work conditions.
5. Performs other duties as instructed by Shipping Lead.
6. Unload and properly store raw materials and supplies in their designated area.
7. Alert Shipping Lead of any damaged or under/over shipment of raw materials or supplies.
8. Follow safe loading and unloading procedures while operating a forklift.
9. Fill out daily forklift checklist and report any forklift performance issues.
10. Report poor inbound/outbound trailer conditions to Shipping Lead.
11. Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards.
12. Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement
13. Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system
14. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected

Hourly pay ranges from $21.40 to $21.72 based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for an annual performance increase, subject to or based on individual performance, business results, budgetary constraints, and other factors.
