We are seeking a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at Primero Staffing. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Forklift: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move products and materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks, shipping containers, and other vehicles.
Inventory Management: Accurately track inventory, perform stock counts, and update records in the inventory management system.
Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any damage or discrepancies.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues or needed repairs.
Order Fulfillment: Assist in order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in forklift operating is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Valid Forklift operator certification preferred but not required
Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines within a warehouse setting.
