Forklift Operator
Location: St. George, UT
Pay: $18.00/hr starting, up to $22.00/hr DOE
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM5:00 PM
We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our team in St. George. This position is responsible for safely loading, unloading, moving, and organizing building materials throughout the yard and warehouse while ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport lumber, trusses, and other building materials
Pull and stage customer orders for pickup and delivery
Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments
Maintain organized inventory and storage areas
Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Assist with general yard and warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience required
Experience working in a lumber yard, warehouse, or construction materials environment preferred
Ability to safely handle large, heavy, and oversized materials
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
