Full-time Forklift Operator position based in Saint Louis, MO, responsible for operating metal processing equipment safely, detecting malfunctions, and notifying maintenance. Duties include lifting raw materials and finished products, loading/unloading items, cleaning equipment, following safety procedures, maintaining a tidy work area, organizing materials, and proper waste disposal. Qualifications include passing a physical, drug test, background check, and preferably a high school diploma or GED. Bilingual skills (English & Spanish) are a plus, along with effective communication and basic math abilities. The role involves working in a scrap metal recycling environment with equipment like shredders and hoists, requiring light to moderate physical effort and sensory awareness.
