Forklift Operator/Shipping Support

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate shipments.
• Accurately select and pack items based on customer sales orders.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles with products using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
• Package all items for shipping, ensuring they are properly protected and labeled.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse workspace.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks required for order fulfillment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
• Shipping system knowledge and ability to schedule shipments with accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
