Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support shipping and warehouse operations. This role is primarily responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and stage materials, while also assisting with general utility and shipping tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or pallet jack as applicable) to move materials safely and efficiently

Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipments using proper equipment and procedures

Stage and organize materials for shipping and production use

Assist with inbound and outbound shipments, including verification of quantities and product condition

Support order preparation, labeling, and documentation

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts

Perform general warehouse utility tasks as needed (cleaning, organizing, material handling)

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment

Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet daily production and shipping goals
Qualifications

Previous forklift operating experience required

Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills preferred (shipping or inventory systems)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work overtime as required
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of 30–50 lbs

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels

Exposure to typical industrial conditions (dust, oils, etc.)

Required use of PPE (eye, ear, hand, and foot protection)
