Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities Operate a Order Picket and Electric Pallett jack Load and unload materials. Move and stage materials in designated warehouse areas. Stack skids and pallets safely. Transport materials throughout the facility. Inspect forklift equipment before use and report any issues. Follow all safety procedures and Standard Work Procedures. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow 5S and Lean principles. Handle materials efficiently and accurately. Assist in other warehouse areas as needed. Report any safety, inventory, or operational concerns to the Supervisor/Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of forklift/PIT experience required. Current forklift/PIT certification preferred. Minimum 1 year of previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred. Must be able to safely operate a sit-down forklift. Must be able to lift, pull, push, and guide materials up to 50 lbs. regularly. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and able to work without constant direction. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong safety awareness. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to safely maneuver a forklift around people, equipment, pallets, and other materials. Must demonstrate the ability to follow instructions and work safely.
