Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Shipping & Receiving
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operator to support our Shipping and Receiving operations. This role is responsible for safely operating stand-up forklifts, handling inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklift (reach, cherry picker, or stand-up sit-down) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Pick, stage, and transport products to designated locations
- Verify shipments for accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and palletizing
- Perform basic inventory tracking and data entry as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months–1 year of stand-up forklift experience
- Valid forklift certification (preferred or company-provided)
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable with good attendance and punctuality
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime may be available depending on business needs
