Forklift Operator {Swing Shift}

NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking Material Handler/Forklift Operator for a wood products manufacturer in the Eugene area. This is a great long-term opportunity in a local company specializing in hardwood sheet goods manufacturing for the construction and cabinet industries. This evaluation to hire opportunity.

What we are seeking:

• 1+ years of Forklift operation in a manufacturing setting.
• 1+ years loading and unloading trucks.
• Previous experience operating 8k lbs. + forklifts preferred.
• The ability to read tape measures and understand both standard and metric.
• Previous experience standing, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling for 10 hours a day.
• Excellent math and measurement skills.
• Willingness to learn to operate several mill machines in addition to Forklift operations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Great attendance, punctuality and work ethics.

JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Eugene, OR
• Shift: Swing
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday and Fridays as needed
• Hours: 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. + O/T as needed
• Pay Rate: $21.00/h+$.40/h shift differential
