Now Hiring: Swing Shift Forklift Operators - $22/hr | Evaluation-to-Hire
Location: Portland, OR | Multiple Sites | Start Times: 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting experienced forklift operators for swing shift positions with a reputable client in Portland. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity, where successful candidates may be hired directly by the client after a performance-based evaluation period.
Position Details:
  • Shift Start Times: 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM (depending on location)
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (some weekend work may be required)
  • Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and railcars
  • Perform heavy case picking in a high-volume warehouse environment
  • Use RF barcode scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Preferred Experience:
  • Forklift operation in grocery or high-volume warehouse settings
  • Experience with truck and rail loading/unloading
  • Familiarity with RF scanning systems and case picking
Candidate Profile:
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
