Forklift Operator

Job Summary

General Facility Care LLC is seeking two experienced Forklift Operators to join our warehouse operations team. The ideal candidates will have experience safely operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.

• Move materials throughout the warehouse.

• Stack and organize pallets in designated storage locations.

• Receive, inspect, and stage incoming shipments.

• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.

• Follow all OSHA and warehouse safety procedures.

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Work effectively with supervisors and warehouse staff to meet production goals.

• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience.

• Valid forklift certification (preferred; certification may be required before starting).

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or flexible shifts when needed.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in distribution centers, manufacturing, or logistics warehouses.

• Experience loading and unloading trailers.

• Basic warehouse and inventory experience.

• Strong attention to safety and detail.

Requirements

• Pass a background check (if required by the client).

• Pass a drug screening (if required).

• Demonstrate safe forklift operation during the hiring process.

• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
