Shift Rotation
Schedule: Alternating bi-weekly schedule
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
(Repeats every two weeks)
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour on W2
Position Overview
We are seeking is seeking a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to support warehouse and material handling operations at its Canaan, Connecticut facility. This is a contract opportunity supporting the Supply Chain Management team on a rotating 12-hour day shift schedule.
The ideal candidate will have forklift operating experience, basic warehouse knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Move raw materials, parts, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility
- Load, unload, store, and transport materials within warehouse and production areas
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records
- Follow all SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines
- Support warehouse and logistics operations in a metric-driven environment
- Perform routine warehouse tasks including lifting, pulling, pushing, and stocking materials
- Use basic computer systems for inventory and operational tracking
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and leads
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred
- 0 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
