The Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement, handling, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, finished goods, packaging materials, and other production-related items within the warehouse and manufacturing areas.
Job Responsibilities
Receive incoming raw materials, components, packaging materials, and other supplies.
Verify material quantities against purchase orders, delivery documents, packing lists, or receiving documents.
Inspect materials for visible damage, incorrect quantities, or incorrect identification. Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the supervisor or appropriate department.
Ensure received materials are properly labeled and placed in designated locations.
Assist with unloading trucks and delivery vehicles using approved material-handling equipment.
