Position: Forklift Operator / Yard Personnel

As a Forklift Operator/Yard Personnel team member, you’ll play a key part in delivering the best customer service while providing customers with all their needs. We need energetic individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment, be active on your feet and help keep the yard orderly and running smoothly.

The primary duties of the Forklift Operator / Yard Personnel will include:

· Helping customers find the product they need

· Load/unload customer vehicles

· Maintaining an organized yard

· Operate forklift to move materials as directed by the foreman/supervisor

· Operate forklift to load/unload trucks as needed

· Stock product in the yard

· Work in a safe and professional manner

· Protect and maintain inventory

· Make daily inspections of the forklifts

· Other duties and assignments as directed by the yard foreman/supervisor

Full-Time. 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed

Position is located at our Susanville location

$21-$23/hr. DOE

Skills/Knowledge and Abilities:

· 2 years of forklift operation in a warehouse or lumber yard setting

· Able to lift and move up to 100lbs

· Reach overhead to grasp materials

· Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, with manual dexterity

· Walk on uneven surfaces

· Repeatedly get on and off a forklift

· Extreme climate conditions (summer heat, winter cold), working outdoors all day

· Ability to work as a team member and get along with coworkers and customers

· Excellent customer service skills
