Position: Forklift Operator
Location: York, NE
Pay:
Days: $23.00/hour
Nights: $24.00/hour
What You'll Do:
Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, load and unload materials throughout the warehouse
Track inventory and material movement using warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanners
Complete daily forklift inspections and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
Load and unload seed shipments while ensuring products are handled with care
Assist with inventory counts, sampling, housekeeping and other warehouse duties as needed
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
What We're Looking For:
Previous forklift experience is highly preferred
Warehouse experience is a plus
Forklift certification is preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to accurately count inventory and read scales
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Mechanical aptitude is helpful
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in both warm and cold warehouse conditions
Steel-toed, over-the-ankle work boots required
