Forklift Operator

Hours
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Pay
$15.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a stand-up Crown forklift and a stand-up tow motor
Put away pallets of food products into overstock bins efficiently
Lower pallets of food products into pick bins safely
Develop knowledge of warehouse layout, inventory placement, and pick path
Operate all power industrial equipment safely throughout the facility
Use RF electronic equipment for daily pallet movement
Hand stack items at various heights, weights, and quantities in different temperatures
Perform physical activities including bending and lifting 1-75 lbs., up to 90 lbs. on occasion
Pick customer orders and load into transport vehicles
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Physically fit and capable of lifting 75 lbs., up to 90 lbs. as needed
Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced setting
Prior experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or related fields preferred but not required
Ability to safely get on and off a pallet jack throughout the shift
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with RF scanners or electronic inventory systems
Previous forklift operation experience
Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in warehouse, production, or manufacturing preferred
Other Requirements
On-site work environment
Ability to work in refrigerated (34°F) and freezer (-10°F) areas
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and physical conditions
