Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking qualified candidates with manufacturing or production experience for a position in Youngstown, Ohio. If you are dependable, physically fit, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Join our team at a local distribution center where you'll operate industrial equipment to move pallets and manage inventory in a climate-controlled facility. Hours
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Pay
$15.00/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate stand-up Crown forklifts and tow motors
  • Put away pallets of food products into overstock bins efficiently and safely
  • Retrieve pallets from bins and place into pick bins accurately
  • Gain a good understanding of warehouse layout, inventory placement, and picking routes
  • Use RF electronic equipment daily to move pallets
  • Hand stack items at various heights and weights in different temperatures
  • Perform physical activities including bending and lifting weights from 1 to 75 lbs., with occasional lifts up to 90 lbs.
  • Pick customer orders and load trucks for transport

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly preferred but not required
  • Comfortable getting on and off pallet jacks throughout the shift

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience operating RF scanners
  • Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory management

Preferred Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred

Other Requirements
  • Valid stand-up forklift and tow motor operation experience preferred
  • Ability to work on-site for entire shift
