Sit-down Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Pay:$19 to $19.50 DOE
Schedule:Monday to Friday

Hours:6am to 3pm or 7am to 4pm

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sit-down Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will safely operate forklifts, move materials throughout the facility, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.

• Move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the warehouse and production areas.

• Pick, stage, and transport materials based on customer and production orders.

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean and organized.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

• Work closely with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams.

• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 4 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts.

• Experience with inventory management and cycle counts.

• Basic math and computer skills.

• Ability to read work orders and production schedules.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods.

• Work in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled.

• Comfortable working around noise, dust, and other industrial conditions.
