This is a straightforward, hands-on role where you will help manage inventory, prep orders for shipping, and keep the facility organized. Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Unloading: Unload incoming shipments, verify manifest accuracy, and inspect goods for any damage.
- Picking & Packing: Use RF scanners or pick-lists to pull items from shelves and pack them securely for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and stock replenishment to ensure our system matches the physical shelf.
- Shipping & Loading: Wrap pallets, label boxes accurately, and load outbound trucks efficiently.
- Facility Upkeep: Keep aisles clear of debris (shrink wrap, pallets, cardboard) to maintain a safe and productive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred (but we are willing to train the right person).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to walk/stand for the duration of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a major plus.
- Safety Mindset: Knowledge of pallet jack operation; Forklift Certification is a significant advantage (and may lead to higher pay).
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
