Forklift/Production Worker

LINK Staffing has partnered with our client in Irving to hire Forklift Operators with production and manufacturing experience. This company is a well established leader in producing medicines that work to fight against chronic kidney disease. These are 1st & 2nd shift, Temp - Hire opportunities offering stability and growth.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be part of the Liquid Acid Production Team; responsibilities include but are not limited to - Operation of pneumatic equipment (Production Line), resupply of packaging material/raw materials using a forklift or manual/electric pallet jack, quality inspection of outbound product, and maintaining a safe, clean working environment per company housekeeping guidelines. With the above duties this position will involve lifting (up to 50lbs) and standing for long periods of time.

Shift Information/Pay Information:

1st Shift: Mon-Fri / 4am -2:30pm (some weekends) - $18.00/HR

2nd Shift: Mon- Fri / 2:00pm – 12:30am (some weekends) - $19.80/HR

Other Forklift Operator/Production Worker Responsibilities:

• Prepare and stage orders in appropriate area to be loaded for delivery

• Follow all internal procedures or special instructions pertaining to preparation and staging of orders

• Receive materials from suppliers, as well as customer equipment by properly inspecting material against paperwork received with equipment or material

• Put away all materials and/or equipment in their properly designated locations in a timely manner

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to the leadership team

• Responsible for keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently

• Process returned materials and equipment according to internal procedures

• Adhere to all established company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

• Other duties as assigned, Picking, Packing and Kitting

Forklift Operator/Production Worker Requirements:

- Stand-Up / Sit-Down forklift experience

- Electric pallet jack experience

- General Manufacturing (production line) & Logistics experience

- Light to Medium lifting /prolonged standing / walking / bending / manual dexterity required

- Minimum 2 years related experience for all of the above

- Must meet the background and drug screen requirements
