Forklift Technician

Responsibilities 

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently while loading and unloading merchandise
• Pick, receive, store, and organize warehouse inventory
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
• Perform labeling, sorting, repacking, and package preparation as needed
• Accurately complete inventory procedures and maintain attention to detail
• Ship and receive cargo in accordance with applicable regulatory and industry requirements, including TSA, C TPAT, and TAPA
• Assist with pallet and cargo preparation
• Perform product selection and prepare orders for shipment
• Assist with local deliveries as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and facility
• Safely operate product handling equipment
• Follow all company safety, security, and operating procedures

Requirements 

• Previous forklift operating experience
• Current forklift certification required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
• Basic computer, internet, and data entry skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of computer related equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
