Forklift

Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour

Summary:

• Location: Vandalia, OH
• Duration: 6 Months
• Shift Schedule: 3PM - 11:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks including housekeeping and running equipment.
• Operate a forklift and handle powered industrial trucks.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Work in a dusty/dirty environment requiring bending, stooping, and twisting.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow directions and perform repetitive production activities.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and group situations.
• Pass a powered industrial trucks training test.
• Ability to work on feet for prolonged periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of and compliance with all safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Steel-toed shoes required.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic computer skills and ability to use company computer equipment and systems occasionally.
