We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to work in a cold storage warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize products while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in sub-zero or refrigerated conditions.
Operate forklifts (stand-up, sit-down, reach truck, or pallet jack) safely in cold storage conditions
Load, unload, move, and stack products according to warehouse procedures
Pick and stage orders accurately for shipment
Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
Follow all safety, food safety, and OSHA guidelines
Work in freezer and refrigerated areas for extended periods
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems as required
Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO)
Cold storage environment (freezer and refrigerated temperatures, may be below 0°F / -18°C)
Required use of cold-weather protective gear (provided or required)
Physically demanding role, including standing, lifting, bending, and reaching
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Full-time
Shifts may include nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
