Form Carpenter

Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices nationwide. We partner with businesses and jobseekers to place qualified individuals efficiently. Currently, we are looking for Form Carpenters in Mobile, AL.

Responsibilities:

• Install hatches, hardware, metal trim, cabinets, and seating using hand and power tools.
• Accurately measure and mark part positions using templates, rulers, and marking devices.
• Set forms to the desired pitch and depth and align them.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install form work for foundations, walls, columns, and other structures.
• Inspect vessels post-installation for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with other tradesmen onsite.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all company and OSHA safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• TWIC card required.
• Proven experience as a form carpenter or a similar construction role required.
• Skilled using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and marine specifications.
• Able to work at heights, in small spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
• OSHA 10 preferred; additional marine certifications a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen is required.
