Form Carpenters for commercial concrete projects throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. We are looking for carpenters who can accurately build, set, brace, and strip concrete forms while working safely and efficiently with a commercial concrete crew.
Candidates should have hands-on formwork experience, understand layout and elevations, and be comfortable working from blueprints to construct forms for foundations, walls, footers, slabs, and other concrete structures.

Pay & Overtime
- Up to $30/hour, based on experience
- Overtime opportunities based on project needs
Schedule
- Full-time commercial construction
- Monday–Friday with overtime as project schedules require
- Projects located throughout the greater Pittsburgh area
Job Duties
- Build, set, brace, align, and strip concrete forms
- Construct formwork for footers, foundations, walls, slabs, and other concrete structures
- Read blueprints, measurements, elevations, and layout information
- Cut and assemble lumber and form materials accurately
- Install stakes, kickers, walers, ties, and bracing as required
- Assist with concrete placement, rebar, embeds, and general concrete operations as needed
Requirements
- Previous concrete form carpentry or commercial formwork experience
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform construction-related measurements
- Experience using levels, lasers, squares, saws, drills, and standard carpentry hand and power tools
- Understanding of form layout, grade, elevation, plumb, level, and square
- Ability to safely perform physical construction work outdoors
- Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the greater Pittsburgh area
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate can take layout information or a set of prints and independently build accurate, properly supported formwork. Strong candidates understand that formwork must hold line, grade, elevation, and dimensions during concrete placement and can identify and correct problems before a pour.
Experience with commercial foundations, walls, footers, gang forms, or larger concrete structures is highly desirable. Candidates who can also assist with concrete placement, finishing, rebar, or general carpentry are encouraged to apply.
