Formulation Scientist

A biotechnology company in Santa Monica seeks a Formulation Scientist to develop pheromone-based agricultural formulations for crop protection.

This role involves designing, developing, and scaling high-performance, biodegradable formulations using polymers, working with cross-functional teams from concept to regulatory support.

• Conduct formulation experiments, produce samples for trials, and document procedures and results.
• Support regulatory documentation and ensure safety protocols.
• Collaborate with teams across R&D, marketing, supply chain, and regulatory functions.
• Manage multiple projects, troubleshoot technical challenges, and optimize formulations.
• Support technology transfer and scale-up activities.

**Required skills:** Master's or PhD in polymer science, chemistry, or related field; hands-on experience with polymer processing and biodegradable materials; strong communication and organizational skills.

**Preferred skills:** microscopy, analytical techniques, polymer chemistry, and experience in fast-paced environments.

This is a contract, onsite position offering $38-$40/hr, with flexible hours and benefits. The application deadline is May 29, 2026.
