Fortress Christian School - Part -Time Science Teacher [Remote Position ] The Office of Online Education at Florida College is seeking dedicated and passionate teachers to serve students and families across the country with Fortress Christian School . This position reports to the Director of Online Education and is responsible for developing and delivering content that is both academically rigorous and centered around a biblical worldview. Currently we are seeking an Upper School science teacher. Current teaching openings are part -time positions with classroom instruction two days per week (on Tuesday and Thursday). This position offers several advantages, including a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work from home. It also gives Christian educators an opportunity to be a part of an exciting new project that will help nurture the academic and spiritual growth of students all around the country. Responsibilities • Develop and implement engaging, student -centered lesson plans that align with our curriculum and Christian values. • Collaborate with instructional designers to create and refine courses for effective online instruction. • Engage regularly with students and families, providing quality instruction and constructive feedback to regularly monitor progress. • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance interdisciplinary learning and share best practices. • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required. • Uphold the mission and values of Florida College, integrating faith and learning in all instructional practices. • Make occasional trips to the Temple Terrace campus or other locations to participate in face -to-face training.
