Safety Radar is a venture-backed startup building AI-powered risk assessment technology for hazardous industries. Our SAFE AI platform helps organizations identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks using large language models and structured data analysis. We work with Fortune 500 companies and growing businesses across industries where getting safety wrong isn't an option. We're a small, fast-moving team where everyone wears multiple hats, and we're looking for someone who thrives in that environment. The Role This is not a traditional customer success role. We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), someone who sits at the intersection of technical implementation and client partnership. You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. You meet deadlines because you understand that a client's safety program doesn't wait, and neither should you. What you'll own Technical Implementation Build, configure, and refine AI risk assessment modules using Safety Radar's SAFE AI platformWork with large language models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) to develop and improve AI models tailored to client‑specific safety methodologiesWrite SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reportingBuild dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to surface insights for clients and internal stakeholdersQA/QC AI outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with industry standardsPartner with the sales team on scoping, Statements of Work, and technical discovery during the sales processLead client onboarding: review safety documentation, research industry‑specific regulations, and map client programs to platform capabilitiesServe as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts post‑implementationTranslate client feedback into platform improvements – you are the voice of the customer in product conversations and help design, scope, and build new AI developmentMaintain regular communication cadences with clients, proactively identifying risks and opportunitiesWhat we're looking for 3‑5 years of experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, forward‑deployed engineering, or a similar hybrid technical/client‑facing roleHands‑on experience with large language models (prompt engineering, fine‑tuning workflows, output evaluation)Proficiency with SQL and Power BI (or similar BI tools)Strong client communication skills.
