  • Collaborate directly with IT teams, program managers, and security officers to ensure seamless platform integration with existing infrastructure
  • Build and maintain integrations with agency systems including SIEMs, SOARs, identity providers, and other security tools

Software Development & Customization

  • Design and develop Java-based components, APIs, and integrations tailored to federal customer environments
  • Write clean, secure, well-documented code in accordance with security standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues at the code level in production environments
  • Contribute enhancements and specific requirements back to the core iboss engineering team

Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and architecture reviews with agency stakeholders
  • Provide expert-level guidance on Zero Trust architecture, network security, and cloud security best practices
  • Work closely with the solutions engineering teams to support pre- and post-sale technical activities
  • Document solutions, configurations, and custom development for knowledge sharing across the organization
  • Work with the customer to ensure annual renewal and share new feature advancements
Required Qualifications
  • 2+years of professional software development experience with Java as the primary language
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, proxies, and firewalls

  • Experience with Linux/Unix-based systems
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in live production environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
