Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, manages and administers the operation of the Foundation and development/fund-raising efforts to include administrative and bookkeeping functions in the absence of an administrative assistant. A team player who can help develop relationships with community volunteers and donors as well as work internally with all of the staff of GPHealth Minimum Qualifications
o Education
o Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration and/or related job experience of 1-3 years in development or related field preferred. Some evening work hours are required.

Essential Functions
1. Assist with activities of the Foundation Board and Committees including assisting with the development of meeting agendas, creating meaningful volunteer opportunities, managing committee programs and events, providing follow up and maintaining electronic files.
2. Assists the Foundation’s fiscal transactions: accurately entering donations, writing correspondence, upkeep of database, running reports, monitoring and maintaining pledge records, preparing deposits and assisting the accounting department.
3. Assist with internal and external public relations by writing and distributing press releases, taking and sharing photos and acting as a contact for various media outlets. Maintaining Foundation website, intranet and social media outlets with up-to-date announcements, events, photos, as well as general Foundation information.
4. Assist with the planning and implementation of all special events which may include the design and printing of invitations and other materials, sponsorship and prize solicitation, tracking reservations, marketing, donor acknowledgement and recognition, volunteer coordination, handling monetary income and financial reporting, and acting as a contact for vendors and participants
5. Assist with the coordination of donor cultivation and major gift proposals.
6. Prepare recognition activities such as signage, plaques, gifts and public announcements.
7. Identify and participate in community outreach activities including health fairs, luncheons, local events and other community groups.
8. Prepare and deliver presentations for donors, volunteers, associates and other groups.
9. Organizing hospital tours by scheduling with department contacts, coordinating with group leaders and arranging room reservations and catering when necessary.
10. Support with special projects as required.
