    THE ROLE: FOUNDING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

This is not a traditional sales role. As the first boots-on-the-ground seller in the United States, the Founding Account Executive will establish the company’s market presence by owning pipeline generation, full sales cycles, strategic partnership testing and go-to-market development.

Operating as a mini-General Manager with a sales focus, the successful candidate will work closely with the founding team to define and execute the United States growth strategy. The role will initially operate as a team of one and will contribute to building the foundation for the future United States team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute the United States go-to-market strategy.
    • Identify target segments, ideal customer profiles and priority accounts.
    • Adapt messaging and positioning for United States buyers.
    • Generate pipeline through outbound activity, events and an established network.
    • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close.
    • Close initial deals and build early customer relationships.
    • Identify and test high-value strategic partnership opportunities.
    • Build relationships with key ecosystem participants.
    • Validate and scale channels that generate pipeline.
    • Provide continuous market feedback on the product, pricing and positioning.
    • Share insights on competitors and market dynamics.
    • Help shape the broader global go-to-market strategy.
    • Build repeatable sales processes.
    • Help determine when and how to hire Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives and partnership professionals.
    • Contribute to building the future United States team.
    • Build a strong United States pipeline within the first six months.
    • Close initial lighthouse customers within the first six months.
    • Refine the ideal customer profile and messaging for the United States market.
    • Identify one or two scalable growth channels, including partnerships and outbound sales.
    • Establish a clear foundation for hiring the next United States team members.
