Founding Customer Engineer
Problem We're Solving
Sales teams have spent the last decade building their system of record- Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Snowflake, Slack, Drive etc. The data is there. What's missing is the intelligence layer that reasons across all of it.
Cursor became that layer for engineering. Harvey became that layer for legal. Von is building it for go-to-market teams.
The market is responding to this gap by spinning up dozens of narrow agents - one for call summaries, one for forecasting, one for pipeline hygiene. Each sees a slice. None sees the whole picture. Von takes a different approach: a single super agent that connects to your entire GTM tech stack, builds a deep context graph of your business, and delivers decision-ready answers in minutes - not weeks.
Companies like Bloomreach, DemandScience, Qualified (acquired by Salesforce), DataGrail, and Cresta already run their revenue operations on Von.
Backed by Lightspeed, Insight Partners, Google Ventures, and Peak XV (formerly Sequoia India).
About the Role
We're hiring our Founding Customer Engineer to own the post-sales customer journey—from deployment and adoption through expansion.
Von operates with a land-and-expand model. Our Account Executives typically land an initial deployment of around 10 seats, often within the RevOps team. From there, the Customer Engineer is responsible for turning that initial foothold into company-wide adoption across the broader GTM organization, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and SDR teams.
The expansion opportunity is significant. A typical mid-market customer with fewer than 1,000 employees can grow to 50–100 seats, while an upper-mid-market customer with 1,000–5,000 employees can expand to 100–500 seats.
To drive that growth, you'll become deeply embedded in how each customer operates. You'll learn their business processes, configure Von around their workflows, demonstrate value across multiple teams, and make the product indispensable to the organization.
This is a highly commercial, target-driven role. You'll own a portfolio of customers and be directly accountable for a defined expansion revenue target.
