The Founding Dean provides executive leadership for the academic units within the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM), the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science (RSECS), and launching a hub focused on preparing undergraduate careers in health and the kinesiology program, during a critical period of transition and institutional transformation. Reporting to the Provost, the Founding Dean is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day academic and administrative operations of both NSM and RSECS while leading a comprehensive and strategic, transparent, and inclusive process to develop synergies between the two academic units while preserving and creating growth opportunities for key areas of existing strengths.
