This NYC based startup is  building the real-world social layer for Gen Z where group-hosted events are powered by tools like AI scheduling, collaborative hosting, ticketing, text blasts, dues collection, and brand sponsorships.

Think event planning meets social infrastructure, designed for daily use across college campuses.

The platform has grown from 1 to 12+ schools, with 70+ more on the waitlist. Hundreds of events have already been hosted, and the company has landed paying brand deals with names like Monster Energy, the Jonas Brothers popcorn brand, and Winnie Harlows cosmetics line all achieved with zero paid marketing.

After shipping 18 new features this year and raising $500K in pre-seed funding (including the largest check ever from CNVC, the startup competition that launched Grubhub and Braintree), the team is ready to bring on a Founding Engineer to help shape whats next.

About the Role

As the Founding Engineer, you will own the full stack React, TypeScript, and Node and lead the development of core features like:

• Drop Hosting

• AI-powered scheduling

• Multi-user logistics and group coordination

• Ticketing and dues infrastructure

work directly with the founder to shape the product roadmap, scale the architecture, and define the engineering culture. The team ships weekly, experiments fast, and cuts what doesnt work.

This isnt a role for someone who needs hand-holding or is just looking to build a résumé. Its for someone who thrives on autonomy, ownership, and tangible product impact someone who wants to build something people will talk about.

What Were Looking For

• Full-stack experience across frontend (React/TypeScript), backend, and basic infrastructure

• Experience shipping and scaling consumer-facing products (mobile-first or cross-platform is a plus)

• Strong product sense and attention to clean, user-friendly UI/UX

• Comfort working quickly and independently in ambiguous environments

• Familiarity with AI-assisted dev tools like GitHub Copilot or similar
