Seeking a Founding iOS Engineer to build a native iOS app from scratch for a fast-growing consumer marketplace.
Location: New York (On-site). Compensation: $170K-$210K + equity.
- Own end-to-end iOS development, including core user journeys like search, property details, booking, and user accounts.
- Design and implement native architecture, define patterns, and establish CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize app performance, ensure reliability, and instrument analytics for iteration.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to shape strategy and technical direction.
- Help establish mobile engineering culture and future growth decisions.
Requirements include 5+ years of iOS experience, expertise in Swift, and a strong product sense. Nice to have skills in SwiftUI, backend systems, and observability tools. The role suits a high-ownership engineer excited to define architecture, operate independently, and build from zero to one.
