Guests scan a QR at the table and order from their own phone; tickets print straight to the kitchen. No tablets, no monthly fee, no per-order charge. Shabuya (Alhambra and La Mirada), Bon Shabu, Oo Kook San Gabriel, Oishi and other AYCE restaurants across LA and OC run on Restii today. We're a small startup. You'd be our first hire on the ground.The role You own a restaurant from first walk-in to healthy launch. Most of the owners we sell to aren't in the building, typically managers run the floor so this job is won in person, in Korean, between lunch and dinner service. You'll work directly with the founder and use a written playbook, demo kit, and owner kit we've built; you bring the relationships and the drive.What you'll do - Build and work a target list of AYCE restaurants in your clusters (Koreatown, San Gabriel Valley, Buena Park/Fullerton, Irvine, and others). - Walk in between services and start five-table, two-week pilots with managers; bring the owner into the decision with our memo, video, and peer references. - Run owner meetings with the restaurant's own menu already live on your iPad. - Install: printers, iPad, tables, QR tents - from the playbook, with the founder on call. - Train staff in 20 minutes; return at day 0, day 7, and day 14 until the restaurant is activated. - Ask every launched restaurant for two owner introductions. - Keep the pipeline sheet current; send a weekly five-number update (walk-ins, pilots, owner meetings, installs, activations). - Feed what you hear back to the product.What success looks like at 90 days (targets we'll calibrate together) ~40 manager conversations a month, 8 pilots a month, 8–10 activated restaurants by day 90, two referral intros per launch, and a clean pipeline sheetYou - Fluent Korean (spoken and written) and good English. Mandarin or Spanish is a strong plus. - You already walk into restaurants for a living or have run one: AYCE/KBBQ manager or GM, soju/beer distributor rep, restaurant supply, or restaurant POS/merchant-services sales. You arrive with owner names. - Self-directed and trustworthy - you'll see the founder weekly, not daily. - Comfortable with light tech: putting a printer on Wi-Fi, signing an iPad in, following a checklist. - Car, valid license, and willing to drive across LA and OC (mileage reimbursed). - Honest about what's free and what's shipped; comfortable answering "what's the catch?"Hours Mostly 9-11 am and 2–4 pm when managers are free, plus some evenings/weekends for installs and first services. Weekly in-person check-in in LA or OC. Compensation - Base: $[25–50]/hour. - Bonus: $[250] per pilot started (up to [6]/month) · $[500] per restaurant that reaches activated at day 30 (half paid at install, half at day 30) · $[250] when it's still active at 3 months. No cap. - Path to a full-time role as the territory grows.
