Pay: $21.00/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Foundry General Laborer for our Betz Industries client to start immediately at $19/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities

• Remove sand molds and cores from metal castings during shake-out
• Operate shake-out equipment and hand/power tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect castings for defects and report quality concerns
• Sort, transport, and stage castings and scrap materials
• Clean castings by removing excess sand, flash, and debris
• Assist with grinding, chipping, and finishing operations
• Load and unload materials and products throughout the foundry
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
• Follow all safety policies and wear PPE in hot, dusty, and demanding conditions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or foundry experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
• Capable of working in high-temperature, noisy environments
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards
• Dependable with reliable attendance and work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• General Labor expertise in manufacturing or foundry settings
• Knowledge of sand molds, cores, and metal castings
• Proficiency with shake-out equipment, hand, and power tools
• Attention to inspection, quality control, and sorting procedures
• Ability to work safely with PPE in physically demanding environments
