JOB DUTIES: The role will be a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Mapleton Foundry and Machine Shop. Responsbile for leadership over manufacturing engineering team consists of up to eight direct reports including manufacturing engineers and production non-traditional roles. Accountable for value stream goals and alignment with operations on people, quality, velocity, and cost targets for full value stream foundry and machine shop. Responsible for actively recruiting and continuing to build a strong performing team. Continuous improvement project leadership. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Requires analytical ability as well as excellent oral and written communications skills. This position requires a 4-year college degree in an appropriate engineering or technical discipline with 7 years of progressive manufacturing experience, or equivalent 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience. Direct leadership, project leadership, or team lead experience required. Foundry or machining process experience required.
