Foundry Production Associate – Iron Casting Operations

Start strong: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begin Day One. Starting pay: $20.40–$24.00/hour. Premiums include $2.00/hour on 2nd and 3rd shifts, time-and-a-half on Saturdays, and double time on Sundays.
Your first weeks on the floor
Step into North America’s leading iron casting producer and learn the craft from experts. You’ll join a production or service department where hands-on mentors help you build pace, accuracy, and confidence so you can progress into specialized job classifications.
This role is built for action—operating machines, handling materials, inspecting castings, and keeping a fast rhythm in a heavy industrial setting. You’ll work nights, weekends, and required overtime to meet production goals, and you’ll take pride in work that supports industries millions rely on.
What a typical shift can include
- Complete safety onboarding and consistently follow all departmental procedures.
- Use process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs) to do the job right, every time.
- Support our 6-S housekeeping and workplace organization program.
- Train toward ISO 14001 Environmental Certification requirements.
- Maintain a steady pace to hit on-time delivery and production targets.
- Operate hand tools, production machinery, and related equipment.
- Visually inspect castings and components to spot defects.
- Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
