About the role
This position is responsible for safely melting metal alloys and pouring them into prepared molds to produce castings.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor furnaces to melt metals according to specifications
- Pour molten metal into molds safely
- Maintain accurate records of heat, alloys, and pouring operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in hot environments
