We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Four Slide Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up four-slide metal stamping machines to produce precision components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with CNC programming and blueprint reading, and experience working within a manufacturing environment. Set up, operate, and monitor four-slide stamping machines to produce metal parts with precision
Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
Program and adjust machine controls using Fanuc controls and other CNC programming tools
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse handling equipment
Ensure adherence to quality control standards through inspection and testing of finished parts
Maintain accurate production records, including cycle times and defect reports
Collaborate with team members on fabrication, tooling adjustments, and process improvements
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
Proven experience operating four-slide stamping presses or similar manufacturing machinery
Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in tooling setup and fabrication processes
Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and CNC lathe/milling machines
Experience with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation systems
Ability to read blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
Knowledge of factory safety procedures, warehouse operations, and materials handling equipment like forklifts
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments
Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar design tools is a plus
Prior experience in manufacturing facilities involving stamping presses, CNC machining, or fabrication is preferred
