As a FP&A Associate in the Construction industry, you will be a critical part of our organization's financial planning and analysis team. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the company's financial future, providing key insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making. You will be working closely with various departments and stakeholders, including investors, to ensure financial transparency and accuracy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your financial expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
3. Conduct regular financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
4. Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data for financial modeling and analysis.
5. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
6. Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
8. Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and financial analysis, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience with investor reporting and financial modeling.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficiency in financial software and databases.
7. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.
10. CFA/CPA or other relevant professional certification would be an advantage.
