WHAT YOU WILL DO The FP&A Associate supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team with month-end close, financial reporting, operating expense management, budgeting, forecasting, and other routine FP&A activities.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Month-End Close, Reporting and Planning: Support month-end close and recurring financial reporting activities. Assist with operating expense management, budgeting, and forecasting by preparing reports, updating financial data, and reviewing results for accuracy.
- Financial and Operations Analysis: Perform defined financial and operational analyses using internal and external data. Summarize findings and provide information to support cross-functional discussions and business decisions.
- Reporting and Data Support: Assist with developing, maintaining, and enhancing performance data and recurring reports to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and quality of financial analysis.
Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE - 2-4 years of relevant financial experience, including exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cost management, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
- Experience preparing recurring reports, maintaining financial data, and reviewing budget-to-actual or other financial results for accuracy.
- Experience using Excel and financial systems for financial reporting and analysis is required.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Tableau, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience in financial services, automotive finance, banking, consulting, or a related industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting concepts.
- Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
- Ability to learn and use financial systems and data visualization or reporting tools.
- Ability to organize work, manage details, and meet established deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional partners.
