A dynamic and rapidly growing professional services company is seeking an FP&A Manager to join its finance team. The company manages a diversified portfolio of income-producing commercial properties across the Southeast, with a focus on maximizing investor returns, enhancing property value, and building strong tenant relationships.
Role Summary
The FP&A Manager will oversee portfolio-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, partnering with operations, asset management, and business development to provide clear financial visibility and decision support. This role is focused on ongoing portfolio performance management, forecasting, and strategic planning, not acquisitions or development underwriting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process across 100+ property-level and entity-level structures, including consolidated rollups
- Own entity-level budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment between property operations, holding companies, and corporate financial plans
- Develop and maintain consolidated and entity-level financial models to track performance, cash flow, and key portfolio metrics
- Partner with operations teams to analyze performance, identify trends, and support operational decision-making
- Collaborate with asset management on property and entity-level performance monitoring, variance analysis, and business planning
- Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and funding analysis across all entities
- Build ad hoc financial models to support strategic and operational decisions
- Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity
- Provide leadership with scenario analysis and performance insights across the portfolio
- Support business development with financial projections, scenario analysis, and modeling for new initiatives, partnerships, and operational strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5-8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related role
- Experience in real estate, property management, or multi-entity environments strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage complexity across multiple entities and stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Desired Skills
- Advanced financial analysis: ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights
- Budgeting and forecasting: experience building annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Data analysis and reporting: ability to interpret large datasets and present clear reports and dashboards to leadership
- Systems proficiency: advanced Excel and experience with financial systems
- Business acumen: strong understanding of how financial performance drives operations, particularly in real estate
- Collaboration: ability to partner effectively with leadership, operations, and accounting teams
