JSG is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, expense management, and strategic financial analysis. This role will partner closely with cross-functional business, IT, and operational teams to provide financial insights, improve performance, and support informed business decisions.
Hybrid M-Th Onsite/ Friday Remote
$55- $62.00 per hour DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the annual budgeting and business planning process
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and rolling forecasts
- Maintain and enhance financial models used for planning, forecasting, and decision-making
- Manage and analyze operating expenses (OPEX), including vendor-related spending
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and other cross-functional groups to manage costs and optimize expenses
- Perform detailed Actual vs. Forecast vs. Budget/Plan variance analysis
- Support month-end close and preparation of financial and management reporting
- Analyze business drivers and their impact on the P&L and overall financial performance
- Perform financial evaluations of new projects, programs, and business initiatives
- Identify cost savings, profitability improvements, and other opportunities with measurable financial impact
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze financial and operational data from enterprise systems and databases
Qualifications
- 57+ years of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, or financial analysis experience
- Strong experience with annual budgets, forecasts, financial modeling, and expense management
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets and build detailed financial models
- Strong understanding of P&L, financial statements, profitability, and financial reporting
- Experience supporting IT-related expenses, systems, projects, and/or vendor spend
- Experience working with financial planning and reporting systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience extracting information from enterprise databases
- Intermediate to advanced SQL/PL/SQL skills preferred
- SAS programming experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional business partnering skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
- MBA is a plus
