FP&A Manager to join their team. This role sits within the FP&A Business Intelligence team supporting a major creative and production capability group.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $50/hr - $60/hr
Position Overview: The FP&A Manager will support the FP&A Business Intelligence team, working closely with the CFO and FP&A Director of a creative and production division. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential conversion to a permanent role based on performance. The MFP&A Manager will be in regular contact with Finance Directors across multiple agencies within the division.
Responsibilities of the FP&A Manager:- Support day-to-day tasks for the division CFO and FP&A Director.
- Autonomously manage monthly and recurring FP&A deliverables, overseeing task workload in coordination with the FP&A Director.
- Provide monthly financial reporting highlighting risks and opportunities with timely, precise analysis.
- Lead recurring reporting tasks, ensuring lean processes and proactive adjustments.
- Support monthly financial reporting including P&L and Trade Working Capital (overdue receivables and WIP) for actuals, forecasts, and budgets, including revenue reporting and agency profitability.
- Coordinate cost analysis, organizational structure reporting (HFM), and maintain positive relationships with agency finance leads.
- Analyze budget versus actual costs to ensure profitability targets are achieved.
- Analyze business development data through Salesforce, including pitches and prospecting activity, for forecasting and budgeting consistency.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze recurring requests across the assigned business perimeter.
- Collaborate with Group Corporate Finance and support special and cross-functional projects as needed.
- Drive reporting accuracy and provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial analyses, management reports, and recommendations.
- Perform variance analysis of actuals versus budget and forecast across all P&L line items and headcount.
- Support recurring activities including top client analysis, organic growth calculations, regional bonus pool tracking, Trade Working Capital reporting, CapEx and lease forms, Salesforce reporting, new business pitch cost tracking, business review and forecast presentations, and business transfer/restatement support.
Required Experience/Skills for the FP&A Manager:- Approximately 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, and/or Audit.
- Fast learner with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent systems aptitude, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with HFM (Hyperion), SmartView, or Essbase is required.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the FP&A Manager:- Experience with Excel Macros.
- Salesforce experience.
- Ability to manage work remotely as needed.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
