Job Summary:

We are in search ofan FPGA Engineer (Mid/Sr) to embark on a journey of designing and validatingFPGA creations. This position invites you to collaborate with a dedicated teamof FPGA design and verification engineers. The primary focus is on space solid-statedata recorders (SSDRs) and System in Package (SiP) firmware solutions.

As a key member ofour team, your responsibilities will span across the entire FPGA developmentlife cycle. This includes diving into requirements analysis, engaging in designand coding, conducting rigorous verification, facilitating smooth integration,and meticulously documenting each step.

Job Responsibility:

- Contribute toresearch, development, integration, and verification of modular firmwaresolutions for intricate microelectronic components spanning various FPGAproviders.

- Craft and enhancetest firmware for design verification and production validation, with a sharpfocus on coverage, performance, and more.

- Createmodule-level verification using HDL simulations to ensure robust design.

- Executeverification simulations, meticulously analyze the results, and diligentlydocument the findings.

- Play a vital rolein developing firmware requirements and specifications.

- Collaborateclosely with the design team to replicate, investigate, and resolve customerconcerns.

- Support the designteam in the setup and testing of software products.

- Demonstrateleadership skills by guiding and potentially training junior professionals andtechnical staff.

- Show a willingnessto assist the team in areas that go beyond your specific technical discipline.

RequiredQualifications:

- Bachelor's degreein Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or anequivalent field.

- Boast a minimum of5 years of experience in firmware development and verification.

- Possessproficiency in VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog development.

- Navigate FPGAtiming constraints and ensure timing closure.

- Have experiencewith Quartus and/or Vivado design workflows.

- Familiarity withFPGA design simulation, with a preference for ModelSim or Questasim.

- Understandmixed-signal design techniques, including ADC/DAC.

- Capable ofdesigning complex cores by leveraging existing IP libraries.

- Knowledgeableabout industry-standard interfaces such as AXI, DDR4, PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, andI2C.

- Familiar withUVM/UVMF.

- Must be a U.S.Person.

- Exhibiteffectiveness as an individual contributor and a valuable team player.

PreferredQualifications:

- Prior experiencewith FPGA development kits and bench-top test equipment, includingoscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, power supplies, and more.

- Proficiency inFPGA power estimation tools.

- Familiarity withIntel AIB and/or Xilinx XSR interfaces.

- Experience withembedded software development.

- Knowledge of theLabView programming language.

- Exposure to Designfor Test (DFT) practices.

- Proficiency withthe Atlassian tool suite, including Confluence and JIRA.

- Scripting skillsusing TCL.
