FPI Human Resources Generalist

Under general supervision, coordinates the recruitment and selection process within University of Maryland Faculty Physicians, Inc. (FPI). This process consists of determining recruitment strategy, sourcing potential candidates, assisting management with the interview and selection process, and coordinating the salary offer and on-boarding process. Provides consulting services regarding recruitment, retention, compensation, and employee relations to assigned departments. Provides human resources guidance and support in accordance with all FPI policies as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required
  • 3-5 years related HR related experience with various HR modalities (recruitment, benefits, employee relations, compensation)
  • HR certification from the HR Certification Institute (PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Excellent written or oral communication skills
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Experience with databases preferred

Total Rewards The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland's Faculty Physician's Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
