Job Title: Lab Technician (Night Shift)
Job Description
The Lab Technician (Night Shift) supports large-scale biopharmaceutical production by operating, cleaning, and maintaining process equipment in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role focuses on fractionation, ultrafiltration, chromatography, and buffer preparation while ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and documentation practices. The technician works in a controlled cleanroom and manufacturing setting, performing both routine and complex tasks to maintain product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance during night shift operations.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse and manufacturing environment that operates under FDA and cGMP regulations. The facility runs 24/7/365 and includes controlled cleanroom areas and laboratory spaces where strict cleanliness, documentation, and safety standards apply. Night shift hours are typically 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., following a 5-on, 2-off schedule in 2-3 day intervals, with detailed shift schedules provided by the employer. There are multiple night shift openings, and occasional afterhours and weekend work may be required to support production demands. The position involves sitting at a desk approximately 10-15% of the time to operate computer systems, investigate and resolve inventory and delivery discrepancies, read and prepare reports, and communicate via email with warehousing and other departments. The remainder of the time is spent standing, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pulling, and carrying materials weighing up to 75 pounds. The environment includes potential exposure to airborne particles, caustics, chemicals, fumes, human source products, odors, and other typical conditions found in manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse settings. PPE use is mandatory, and employees work within a structured cGMP framework. The site is easily accessible via regional rail, with a free shuttle to a nearby station. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
