PRST is hiring a Journeyman Framing Carpenter (Bilingual Preferred) – San Diego, CA
Are you an experienced framing carpenter looking for steady work with a respected contractor in the San Diego area? PRST is seeking a skilled Journeyman Framing Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and can work independently on residential and commercial framing projects. This role pays $32-$36 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Layout, measure, and frame walls, floors, and roofs
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Install wood and metal framing components
- Set trusses, rafters, beams, and structural components
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment
- Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades on site
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
OSHA 10 Certification
Experience leading small crews or mentoring apprentices
5+ years of framing carpentry experience
Ability to read blueprints and layout work independently
Experience with custom homes, multifamily, or commercial projects preferred
Own hand tools and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
Strong work ethic and attendance
